Privacy

Your drives never leave your devices.

No accounts. No servers of ours. No analytics SDKs. Your history lives on your iPhone and in your private iCloud, readable only by you.

  • Delete the app and the data is gone. Or wipe it from Settings inside the app.
  • The only thing that leaves the phone is the route request that makes a comparison possible, with no name or identifier attached.

Questions.

Does it work with CarPlay?
Yes. Route Rebel records in the background while CarPlay runs, and can hand a destination to Apple Maps on CarPlay with one tap. There is no separate CarPlay screen; the scoreboard lives on your phone.
Does it need Google Maps installed?
No. Route Rebel asks Google for its planned route and ETA directly, at departure. You never open Google Maps. Apple’s comparison is free; Google joins the scoreboard on Pro.
Is my location data sold?
No. It never reaches us, so there is nothing to sell. Your drives stay on your iPhone and in your private iCloud. We have no servers, no accounts and no analytics. Privacy policy.
What if I forget to start it?
You can’t forget. With Location set to Always, Route Rebel notices the car moving and starts recording on its own. Prefer manual? Use While-Using and tap to record.
