Three questions we get most
Why didn’t a drive record?
Usually one of three things:
- Location isn’t set to Always. iPhone Settings → Route Rebel → Location → Always, and turn on Precise Location.
- Motion & Fitness is off. The app uses it to notice a drive starting. Same Settings screen.
- Low Power Mode or Background App Refresh is off. iOS pauses background recording in both cases.
Short trips under about two minutes are skipped on purpose.
How do I cancel Pro?
iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Route Rebel → Cancel. Pro stays active until the end of the paid period. Recording continues on Free and nothing is deleted.
Where is my data?
On your iPhone, and in your private iCloud if iCloud is on. Nowhere else. We have no servers and cannot see it. To wipe everything: Route Rebel → Settings → Delete all data, or delete the app and its iCloud data from iOS Settings. Privacy policy.
